Outdoor Education

Outdoor Ed. has our students on some local hikes in the parks near the school, and also some further off-campus treks on the Trans-Canada Trail, and around Rolley Lake.  Emphasis will be on recognizing hazards, having the preparation and equipment needed for the activity, and learning about local & invasive plants.  We will also be learning about responsible use and care for the outdoors, different types of soil, and how to build a shelter.
