Alice Postma grew up on the prairies in Calgary Alberta. She attended Dordt College in Sioux Centre, Iowa where she earned her education degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching for the better part of 30 years, 16 of which were spent substitute teaching in grades kindergarten to grade 8. She came to Cornerstone 3 years ago to team teach with Karen Alcock in grade three. Alice took on grade three full time last year and is in her second year teaching grade three full time again this year. She lives in Abbotsford with her three grown children. Alice loves being in her own classroom teaching and leading the grade threes. She enjoys long walks on the dyke, reading, and playing piano.
